OPERATING PROCEDURES

Introduction

The following procedures have been adopted by Council to ensure the smooth operation of the Strata Corporation.  

Understanding and following these procedures will help to ensure that:

  • There is continuity from one Council to the next;

  • Procedures for handling routine items are clear and efficient;

  • Procedures for handling emergencies and non routine activities are ‘planned’ in advance;

  • A strategy is in place for the long term care of the Strata Corporation.

It is imperative Council clearly communicate its expectations to the Agent and others involved in the management of the property. Such communication will promote consistent high standards. Your Agent will encourage new Councils to review this appendix with each new Council and amend its contents as bylaws or policies necessitate change.
